Tiprontic Working Intermittently
 
I have a 2001 Boxster with Tip, 104k miles, shifts great, tranny seems to be normal except sometimes the Tiptronic does not function, no error codes came up when dealer checked it. Does not seem to be a common problem with this car. Any ideas?

Do you mean that the Tiptronic steering shift buttons don't operate correctly?
