Top won't move, windows won't go up
I have been doing a lot of different services on my 2000 S and have run into a bit of a snag. I disconnected the battery to do the Carrera gauge upgrade, also added the OBC, so I had the top in the service position the entire time so I could add the oil sending unit. The battery was disconnected for a few days and upon reconnecting, I can't move the top in either direction and the windows won't go up. They were already down before I started and I can hear them click in the down direction, but nothing for either of them in the up direction.
I have checked every fuse in the panel, visually and none of them look burned out. I also took the center console out to paint it, and have not re-installed it. Is it something silly like the sensor that goes to the lockable hatch in the console being disconnected? I'm having trouble thinking of anything else.
