top problem
 

1997 Boxter. Top stuck in down position, appears that the push rod ends are broken. Tried to follow the instruction in the owners manual to manually raise the top so I can fix the problem but can't get past the first step (disconnecting rod A from tract. The manual says to then release Rod B thats where I get stuck The picture in the manual does not look like the car's mechanism. Any one got some help
