Dumb battery boost, help!!

My fine brother connected the cables to the wrong posts and even left them after sparks flew for about a min. All works fine on the 01 Boxster, whew! Except the CDR-220 does not get power, tried another unit so its not the radio. Changed fuses, still no power. Any advice?? Is there a relay or another component that was fried?

I did the same thing, accidentally, and had to replace the voltage regulator..Thanks to the threads, I read here on Pelican. Every one wanted to sell me a alternator from $850.00 to $1800. The voltage regulator was less than $50 bucks. I know the radio has a fuse in the back of it, because I had to have it pulled and replaced.
