Can the clutch be adjusted? 2006
The clutch pedal on my 2006 standard Boxster has quite a bit of travel with the engagement closer to the top of the pedal, is that normal? It shifts just fine and no slipping. Is there an adjustment for the clutch pedal or is it self adjusting???

Good question...
I would like to know too. Mine engages toward the top as well... I second the question.

There is no mechanical adjustment, the system is hydraulically operated.

I would think that engaging at the top is a good sign that there is still plenty of material left on your clutch. You do want you clutch to engage close to the floor. Plus, if you can figure it's exact point of engagement / disengagement then you learn to shift faster with less travel.

I had heard something like that in the past so I guess good news for us. Agree on the shifting too..

Just the opposite in my opinion (from other vehicles anyway). If your clutch is engaging/disengaging at the very beginning of pedal travel, I would think the clutch is more worn.
