Does anyone have a used one of these for sale? Terrible that can't take kids for ride in boxster so need one of these or a good solution to turn off the passenger airbag at will. Thanks.

If the device works, you should see a blinking airbag light on the instrument cluster when you turn the car on. It goes out after something like 60 seconds. I think, but my recollection might be wrong, that the dash light will flash for a minute every time you change the position of the switch.

If you don't see the blinking light, you may need to get a shop to program the system to tell the car you have air bag deactivation installed. I put mine in a couple of years ago and forget whether the shop had to do some reprogramming. Perhaps other forum member know.

I'm interested in this setup as well. Please let us know if this worked after programming the car to accept it.
