I have an '01 Boxster with 147,000 miles. The brake lights have started flickering when I depress the brake petal. They either flicker or they don't come on at all. Any suggestions what or where the problem might be? Thanks

Check the brake switch and the grounds for the lights. Do the other lights flicker when you turn them on

Cool Brake Lights

It's probably a bad switch. Mine was a bear to get to. You have to be a contortionist to get it out. I gave up, and took it to the dealer to the tune of $145.00, including a new switch. BTW, with that many miles, are you still on the original IMS?
