OBD issue on 2004 S

Anyone have a diagram showing which pins on the OBD get power? I am having issues passing a massahusetts emissions test becaus ethe test equiptment requires the car to provide the power via the OBD connection. In my case the OBD is not providing the power. I was told #1 (Hot and Run only) #16 always hot but need to get a diagram??

Michael,

Here's a diagram link:

Troubleshooting OBD II Data Link Connector

Since you're up at the North Shore, I'll probably see you around -- I have a cobalt blue '07.

Regards,
paul...

A quick question: Does the car have an aftermarket DME reflash? We have seen several models not pass state inspection because of problems reading the OBD II data after being reflashed. Seen this on 986, 996, and even Turbos. Only way to solve the problem was to reflash the cars back to stock, after which they passed without issue......

Any experience with a 986 flashed with US LEV 996 program not passing?

Not to date. Most of the problems we have encountered involved aftermarket flashes by various "tuners".
