Know what this part is?

Preparing my motor for the drop. All plastic parts are brittle in a 12 year old car. 2001 3.2l tiptronic. Snapped this puppy in half and I don"t know what it is/does. it"s in the middle of a coolant hose in the rear right of the engine compartment.. I think it"s the oil cooler coolant hose. Sorry if you've seen this on another forum but I'm really out fishing here.

Go to the Porsche site and download a pdf of the parts catalog (pictures & part #'s) for your vehicle/year and try to match up something.

Okay, got it out and took a good look. It's a quick connector. There was a button on it which I was supposed to push (and not pull ) which broke. Then I broke the nipple on one end and the flange disintegrated. But it's just a $2 part.
Thanks for your help!
