2000 boxster steering wheel removeal

I am having a hard time getting the #30 torx screws out of the back of my steering wheel. Any hints? The screw driver type does not break it loose.
Thanks

Steering Wheel

When I replaced my airbag retaining frame I experienced the same problem. A new driver which produced more torque broke them free.
