Windows
I drove MY99 three days ago and all was fine. The battery had died the day prior. Charged it and no issues. Put the windows down so I could see better to back it in the garage and put the windows all the way up once it was inside the garage.
Went out today. Disarmed the alarm and started it up and both windows went down by themselves and now they will not go up all the way. I've disconnected the battery to see if a reset would do the trick and nope. Put the top down and up. Still the same. They stop almost half way up. And that's it... Any ideas??? Thanks, Randy

un do and re close the center top handle. This should allow the windows to close. I have found that sometimes you have to lower the top and reclose to make it work. Be sure the hand brake light is lit.

It turned out to be a problem with the roof latch as Al had predicted. I pulled the latch down in the un lock position and put my finger into the latch opening and pushed up on the relay lever. Windows went up and seem to be fine now, as I put them down and up several times. All is fine. Next move is to get me a can of DeOxit 5. An electrical contact cleaner I use to use on knobs on old stereos to make the staticy noise go away when turned. The stuff is pretty amazing and usually always keep a can on hand for this reason.
