LNE Drain Plug Torque Question
After reading a couple of posts on the topic of the magnetic drain plug from LNE, I realize I torqued the magnetic drain to 37# instead of the recommended 19#.
The original plug calls for 37#. The LN plug calls fro 19#. My questions are: 1. Do I just leave it at 37# or should loosen and re-torque to 19# ? 2. If I loosen it and re-torque to 19# do I run a big risk of a crush washer leak? I don't want to drain all the fresh oil and start over with a new crush washer.

Leave it alone until you next oil change, then torque it to 19 Ft. Lb.

Thanks
JFP- Thanks for the info. You're a valuable asset to the Boxster forum.
As long as the LNE fill plug didn't shear at 37# I figured it would probably be OK until the next oil change.
