I wanted to get a thread started that provides some of the unique details for the 987 Spyder including special features, weight savings, production numbers etc. It would be great to see other owners posting details and any special books/articles that you’ve collected.

One of the few shortcomings on the 987 Spyder is the lack of an intake grill to protect the front radiators. I was fortunate to have found a set made by a company that is now defunct right after I bought my Spyder which has done a great job of keeping the intake clear of debris and also keeping the radiators looking new.
