Window / door problem
 

I have a 1997 Boxter and the driver side window doesn't want to go down when I opened the door. I change the micro switch attached to the outside door handle and still doesn't work. Thinking that it is the door latch mechanism, I used a used one and still does't work and it was working on the other car. Every time I touch the connection on the door latch mechanism the window start to go down and up just a quarter of an inch but when I used the door handle nothing happen. Can it be the micro switch on the inside door handle or I have a wire problem?
I am starting to hate the window.
