looking for a shop in NOVA.
Hi!
I'm looking for a shop in Northern VA, (Alexandria, Springfield, etc.) That would be willing and able to do the Cruise Control hack on my 2000 Boxster. I have the connectors and switch to do the OBC and the cruise, and will do the computer myself, but I'm getting cold feet with the cruise. The shop that previously "worked" on my car, said he could do it, but after having to pay $$$$$ to fix his "repairs", I kinda lost confidence. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you trying to add cruise control in to a non cruise control optioned car?

Yeah. I do some long distances, and cruise would be a god send.
I'm good with wiring up the switch to the cluster, it's the fuse block and control unit that's got me nervous. I understand the function needs to be activated, I just need to get to that point.
