Rear clunk (shock?)
My 1998 Boxster has a clunk when going over bumps. The noise is coming from the top of both the right and left rear shocks. If I pull the tires off and push the suspension assembly up then drop it the clunk is very audible. Is this a strut replacement or a bumper replacement somewhere?

Replace the lower control arms it is a known issue for the ends to wear out and clunk.
