Boxster Handbrake cabke questions

Hello all
I am looking to replace the rear o/s brake cable.
It is undone at the wheel. Undone nut etc in the centre consul. I have removed the underbody panel underneath the car so I can see where the cable goes into the body.

1, Do I simply now pull the cable to get it out or is there anything else I need to remove?

2. When replacing does the cable follow a tube to emerge at the handbrake adjustment area?

Thank you for any help or advice...................hopefully stuff like this is in the 101 Porsche Boxster Manual Santa Claus may be bringing me..............and that's only IF I have been a good boy in 2014 to deserve one.
