Boxster hard pedal and sticks

After retrieving my 97 Boxster from its winter slumber. I have a problem with the brakes. When first depressing the pedal seems hard to push then acts normally. When you release pedal brakes stay applied until you pull pedal up with your toe. I have cked all calipers and cked rod from pedal to booster and it's free of binding. Thanks

Have a look inside the booster for water.
Seems like a common issue
otherwise I have a similar problem with no resolution as yet.

Test drove a 97 that had exactly the same issue.

Passed, based on that.
