Right side drive shaft noise
I have a 2005 Boxster that after replacing the outer CV boot and grease continues to make a quite annoying loud noise. As the vehicle is driven, the faster it moves the louder it gets. So I'm assuming the shaft is done and must be replaced or could it be the wheel bearing?
How can I rule out either or? Any specific way?  Your thoughts! |

Maybe you could remove the drive shaft. Test drive it and see if the noise is still there. Not sure if that is possible.
