Boxster roof will not open
I am rebuilding a 2000 2.7 Boxster bought as a damaged repairable after previous owner had left the road with it.
Stuck with what should be a simple operation? i.e. how to open the roof. I have the ignition on, have released the latch lever and pushed the roof button on the dashboard but there is no movement. Is there anything else I need to do to ensure the procedure can go ahead? Is there a sensor on the boot/trunk lid or handbrake that I need to check? Its bound to be something simplistic. Unfortunately I have no owners manual for this car..............yet. |

The handbrake needs to be set and the engine running or engine off and ignition "ON".
You might also check the fuse. Good luck. BER |
