Fit in a Boxster

It is my dream to (someday) own a Boxster. However, I recently read that tall people do not fit well into Boxsters. I'm 6'4" and I'm hoping that there is still some way that I can realize my dream. Does anybody know if tall people like myself can comfortably drive a Boxster? If not, can something be done (lowering the seats, etc.)?

BTW, I fit into my Honda del Sol just fine (even with the top on). I can drive a Miata, but it's a little tight - I assume a Boxster has a bigger interior than a Miata.

Thanks.

I,m 6'1" with long legs and sit perfect with seat all the way back. Lots of head room, so if you are long waisted, you will fit fine. I don't see Shaq in one though.

As with many other Porsches, the factory has designed the car for guys, and the height that goes along with that. 6'6" + might be tight, but you will still find plenty of leg room. I'm 6'1", and I can't use the last seat position in my 914 or my 911, or my 356 for that matter. And I have extra long legs...

I've got a 2002 and am 6'3". The biggest issue was the center console rubbing against my right calf. My dealer installed a GT3 modification which completely eliminated the center console between the shifter/trans hump & the instrument panel.

They ended up having to relocate the heating/ac control panel (replaced the cup holders which were ridiculous anyway) and I lost the storage area, but who cares. It's a thousand times more comfortable and opens up the cockpit.

I am 6'2", with very long legs (36-37" inseams). I fit very well in my '01 Boxster. I have around 3-4" above my head and leg room is acceptable.
