what engine is in an 2005 / 2.7 boxster?
good morning all,
Viewed & deposited on a 2005 boxster (987) on the basis it was an m97 engine. Never checked myself & somehow I've now managed to convince myself it might be m96. Only information I can find online says the 3.2s was m96 until 06, nothing on the 2.7, can anyone confirm? Thanks |

check the stamping on the bottom of the engine. Engine type (M96 or M97) is part of the engine serial number.
