Cool New Boots

I have just replaced the boots on my coffin arms. They were split and in the UK the car would fail an MOT (ministry of transport test). The MOT has got to be done every year on a 3 year old car. There was no play at all in the joints and all the bushes were ok, so I decided to have a go at this. It turned out to be a very straight forward job. Have a look at the photos below.

I have just taken the nut off here.


I cleaned it up well after taking the old boot off before re-greasing


The old and new boots. The new boots were £2 each


Job done, these boots had o rings to hold them on..
