Boxster 1997-2004 Tonneau Cover For Sale
For sale is a NEW Tonneau Cover for a 1997-2004 Boxster. I bought this cover a couple of years ago and never got around to installing it in my car.
I recently had to sell my beloved 2000 Boxster, and now this tonneau cover must go as well. Our host sells this item for $813, Porsche Boxster Miscellaneous - Page 8 I'm offering this tonneau cover to Pelicans for only $100 plus $20 shipping first before I put it on Ebay. Here are the photos of the Tonneau cover. faverymi gets first dibs then down the line.
I will weigh the cover and charge the buyer actual postage plus insurance. (should be around $20-25)

Pluses and Minuses
Plus...really nice on cold days when the sun is out, the top is down and the heat on. The heat just seems to flow up and around the driver when the toneau is half open.. Plus...really easy to park and snap it on and zip the center and the car is secure from light rain or leaves or bird droppings, or etc. Lots easier than fooling with the top. Minus...to install you will have to drill into the body and install fasteners. Make sure you can get the templates for where the fasteners go. I know I've seen them on the net somewhere. (Had one on a '60s Alfa. Loved it) |

I have one, too, and here are additional minuses ...
Stock tonneau cover won't fit if you have the Brey-Krause rollbar extension (although I had mine modified with a zipper to do so). Also, the wind deflectors in the roll hoops can't be installed with the cover on and for me this added more wind at the neck area than the additional heat on my torso was worth. Love the idea, though! |
