GT4 Clubsport
So Porsche intorduced the GT4 Clubsport as a full on race car, but why wouldn't they introduce a street version as well?
Is the intent to get wins and dominate then put it out as a street car? Is this what they've done in the past, or was it just a street car you could race? Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport is ready for the track, not the road video - CNET

Thanks for the link. The interior certainly looks ready for the track. Most are predicting (praying) a PDK version of the GT4 will be offered by Porsche for the street in the next year or two...

The car is intended to get semi-pro racers commited to the brand and use it as a feeder to get them to later buy Cup Cars. It is primarily going to be run in one make race series against themselves. There is an east coast and a west coast version, as well as one in Canada. Similar to Yokohama Challenge for the Cup Cars.
The street car equivalent already exists in the regular GT4. There will be no other offering. Between the street GT4 and the Clubsport they are at maximum production for the manufacturing line these cars are made on. There also will NOT be a PDK version for the street in a year or two. In a year or two the 981 product line will be moving into its second generation. You are not going to be any other 981.1 GT4 variants released.
