hello I have a Porsche Boxster S 2003 with CDR23 which doesn't seem to be working. whenever I turn on the car it just flashes with no sound or anything. it only keeps flashing PORSCHE. I believe I need a new unit , but my main question is if it would be ok to replace it with a used unit from another Porsche same year same model and everything? I would I have any problems when it comes to it asking me for the security code? and would it work properly? I just don't want to spend a lot of money on it and then it doesn't work. is there anything else I should know or do before I purchase the other unit?

I don't think 23 models have codes. Is replacing with a used one, it will have to be programmed to the vehicle using an advanced Porsche scan tool.
