ABS Wire Harness Repair Kit Install

I am getting rready to install a new rear ABS wire harness kit - my spedo went out. The wire harness behind the rear wheel was cracked and the wires severed.

Q: Is there a diagram for how the wires are connnected in the trunk? I can't see which electrical box the wires go into becasue it is tight and I don't want to remove all the boxes if I don't have to.

Do I need to splice any wires for this project?

Thanks as always!

Greg

Ok. I traced the wires and they terminate in the Yellow wire harness box in the rear trunk.

Need help - must be a simple answer - how do you disconnect the wires from the yellow harness?

When I pulled, the wire sheard and broke. I am sure there is some disconnect procedure I am missing.

You need the correct size Molex wire pin removal tool to extract the wire from the yellow plug:

Thanks. Do I have to be able to access the wire from both ends to use the Molex tool; i.e. tool in one side, pull from the other? That does not seem possible with the wire harness. It has wires going n from both ends.

It actually seperates into three parts. The top and bottom just being sheeths over the central wire connector. Hence, a wire is inserted in each end. There is no two halves.

Have you disconnected the yelloe wire harness into two parts before? Perhaps I did something wronng?
