Smell of gas

03 Boxster with 80K miles. No CEL. Starts and runs normal. Often, not always there is a smell of gasoline in the car when the engine is shut down. Smell is inside only and not outside. No smell around the gas fill and no smell from the side vents outside. Anyone have a clue?

Maybe look under the battery to check for any signs of leakage from the top of the tank? Could be an evap hose expelling fumes somewhere.
