So I grabbed her bra and ripped it off

. . . No, it's not an election story! The clear bra on my 09 Cayman S was looking kind of tattered after 7 tears, so I began the arduous process of peeling it off. Fortunately, it did not break into fragments. Unfortunately, it is really hard to remove, requiring lots of force to pull t ff, while also being careful not to hurt the underlying finish. The adhesive mostly came off with the film, but every so often a gob of it would remain on the car. Even with 3m adhesive remover, it was quite a chore to remove the goo. Fortunately, the stuff did its job--the paint beneath is flawless.

The film itself had also yellowed quite a bit over the years. Even though not terribly noticeable on the midnight blue paint, the car looks much better with the film removed.
