Anyone with experience installing Dension 500 on Boxster ?
I am looking at a solution to have ability to play music from USB / iPod. My 2005 Boxster S has the PCM 2.1 with CD changer.
The Dension 500SBT solution is rather expensive so I would like to see if anyone already has experience with it, specially how difficult (or easy) it is to install. Thanks in advance, CAF |

I installed one on my (previous) Cayman S. It's pretty easy. Do you have a CD Changer? Navigation?

Yes both. I found the installation manual online and a forum post in another forum that describe the process, sound simple enough. But if you have any tips and tricks, happy to hear. Since I have no plan to use the CD changer I think to completely reuse the connection instead of adding complexity with a loop.
Also how you find the Dension ? does he do the job you expected ? my plan is mainly to plug in a UBS drive. |

Cafournier, where are you located? If near Southern California (OC) I can help with the installation. Unfortunately the installation manual is not very helpful, online guides can be problematic. I have not found a "complete" guide that explains it all.
The Dension worked fine, but my system was not PCM 2.1 so I only had the USB playlists, no BT connectivity, no menus, no options.
