Squeaking sound from interior, rear window area

'11 Cayman S. I have a squeaking sound from the area of the passenger rear quarter window, behind the seat. I tried to remove the plastic trim to investigate, but there is just a lot of stuff to remove.

Anyone else have this problem? Am I on the right track, just keep prying and unscrewing stuff? What made the squeak go away in your case? Thanks.

My '07 S does this too. From what I've gathered, this is one of those "they all do that" things.

My third brake light squeaks when its cold outside. '08 Cayman S.

I experienced something similar in my '01. My passenger reclined the seat back and the very top of the leather headrest was rubbing the rollbar. Drove me crazy for 2 weeks until I had another passanger adjusted the seat. Just a thought.
