On my Cayman I use Durametric software and cable . They say that an Icarsoft scanner will do, it but I have not tried it. A dealer or import garage will do it but probably charge you.

Durametric is not inexpensive, but worth the investment if you plan to DIY more often. I posted scanners below for you to view:

Durametric works, I used it with my laptop, pretty easy to navigate. Unfortunately I misplaced mine during a recent move. It is packed somewhere !&Xx .
My warning reminder drove me nuts and I bought themicarsoft on amazon prime,I can confirm the Icarsoft works just fine! If all you are doing is reset the service reminder it is perfect, saves money and does not require any computer. Pretty compact, I keep mine now in one of the front trunk compartments so it is always in the car. I used it recently to erase the airbag light after I had to jump the car.
Great deal!

Except for the 15% or so of the purchasers on Amazon who simply could never get this unit to work.

I can only speak for my experience. The menus are not intuitive and it takes a little to navigate them, but mine has done the job. No problem with service reset and erasing error codes. I cannot speak for the 15% that don't work, don't know if their units are defective or if the operators couldn't get it to work.
If you have Amazon prime just return it free of charge, no shipping fee.

My point was that if you have 1% with problems, you have a relatively rare failure rate. At 15%, you have an entirely different situation. Caveat emptor.....
