Clock and oil level display issue

Hello,

I just purchased a 98 Boxster and after looking at the manual I should be seeing a clock and an oil level measurement in the right instrument pod, but I do not see anything.

Is this an option, or is it just broken, could it be a fuse or is it more complicated.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thank you,

Did you turn on the ignition?

Yes the ignition is on,

It is definitely not an optional feature. It could be any kind of electrical issue, a fuse, that LCD or something else. I would bring it in at leisure to get it fixed. Check the oil by hand till then.
