You may have to swap some stuff from your old engine, but it will work. Once you get the two side by side the parts differences will be obvious and you can swap over what looks different.

No issues swapping the long blocks as all 3 years are identical. As for the bolt on accesories use yours from 2002 if in good working order. Especially fuel parts as 2002 has best fuel return & fuel injectors.
