flynsfun: I have a 2006 Boxster, tiptronic. Right rear brake light stopped working. All running lights, turn signals, left brake light OK. Right bulb OK. Fuse OK. Took out right light assembly and hot wired it and all lights worked OK including right brake light. Is it possible that corroded contacts in brake switch causing only one side to malfunction?

I doubt it, see if you can have an assistant press the pedal while you measure voltage at the bulb socket...
