Also, over years and years of Porsche ownership and repair, I have seen that, yes, there can be a BIG difference in quality between the "real" Porsche part and the OEM. Sometimes they are the same. But, sometimes the difference is very obvious. Here the price difference is pretty big. Is this one of those situations where there is a difference that could impact the quality of the drive of the car? This is a Porsche, there is a reason I paid extra to buy it in the first place - same reason I keep the right performance tires on the car. So if this is one, I am willing to spend the extra.

I would say, buy Porsche parts if in your budget. However, OEM supplier part manufactures often sell the SAME part cheaper without the Porsche package.
