Boxster S Engine Switch

Hello,

I have a couple questions - Help is appreciated!

Due to IMS failure I had to perform an engine replacement on my wifes 2001 986 S.

The replacement engine is from an 03.

I am lost looking at vacuum hoses, what would be the best source for information on differences (if any).

Secondly, I purchased a new (7.8) computer, do I have to change the ignition switch along with the computer?

I appreciate your help with these questions.
