locking,, sensor

My boxter s 2002 has started alarming, just one beep, after locking, all doors front and rear storage is shut doors are shut petrol door is shut and the car locks...
Is it just a sensor???

You get a single beep because one or more of the various sensors is not ready for the alarm to set. Rather than tearing the car apart to test everything, get is scanned with a Porsche specific scan tool, which can read the last ten alarm system faults. Those will tell you where the problem is......

Don't forget the armrest storage. It is alarmed and kept me puzzled with the same beep for the longest time.:o
