That is a beautiful paint job. I really like the color. Well done.

I've always liked Boxsters in Guards Red, this is a great looking car.

It looks great. Mine is Guards Red now, which is the original color but I'm thinking of changing the color.

What brand of paint did your body shop use? Did they have any trouble painting the bumper covers?

They use Sherwin Williams. I don't think they had any problem with the bumpers.

I have an admission, it's a . . . ahem! Maico paint job. Not Guards Red, btw. It's a red metallic, fairly large flake. And it's not basecoat/clearcoat. It's integrated clearcoat which make the color pop and the paint flows out better. I'm pretty happy with the job they did. About $1700.

My 2011 BS is guards red. I have people taking pictures of it when I'm inside Panera Bread eating, LOL!

I'm gearing up to repaint mine, speed yellow with some acrylic enamel paint I just bought off ebay. Any comments on what was removed prior, what was left on, any insights, tricks for the rear trunk lid lettering, mirrors, air intakes etc?
