engine dies after warm-up cycle

will only restart after cool down, approx 5 minutes. Codes indicate bad oil temp/level sensor and bad pre-cat O2 sensors, also tiptronic has output speed sensor failure. water pump replaced so far to clear water temp issue. I thought I read somewhere that the oil temp sensor could cause this. anyone out there know of this?

more on engine dies after warm-up cycle

more info: ECM was tested with immobilizer and passed, tiptronic control module was swapped for another and did behave differently but not conclusively as engine died before any real testing could take place.

When you post

please give the model year of the car and the exact codes. It helps you get answers tailored to your specific problem.

Miles on the engine? Any mods? Last tune up?

1998 Boxster with Tiptronic. Codes are P0197, P0131, P0151, P0722. These reset after clearing and running engine from cold. There are other intermittent codes: P1602, P1115, and P1119.

P0197 - Oil temp sensor short to ground
P0131 - O2 sensor on bank 1 ahead of three way cat short to ground
P0151 - O2 sensor on bank 2 ahead of three way cat short to ground

Sounds like you have some electrical issues...............
