Like previously said, this is what Hartec in the UK has been doing for well over a decade. The 6305 bearing for street use with the seal removed is proven to be bulletproof.

No need to do invasive procedures that mill out the ims area. Bad idea. We've already had to come up with a fix for this for the car was was featured in the developer's video showing the procedure being carried out.
