97 Boxster Cruise Control Not Working

I have a 97 Boxster and the cruise control doesnít work. The green light will come on but when I press the stalk forward, it does nothing. Iíve only owned it for a few months and it hasnít worked during this time.

I changed out both the clutch and brake switches with no luck. I ohmd out both and they appear to be working fine. The fuse is good as well as all of the brake lights. I checked with the durametric and it doesnít give any codes.

Any recommendations as to what else I should check?
