986 Boxster S 3-4000rpm Vibration

I was wondering if anyone could have a guess at what might be causing an issue with my 04 Boxster S.

Coming off the throttle, I can feel (and slightly hear, like a deep rumble noise) the car vibrating between 4000-3000rpm. It is most noticeable in 2nd and 3rd gear, and only occurs when off the throttle, not on part or full throttle.

It only seems to happen after the car has been driven hard for a few minutes.

It feels more chassis related but appears to be linked to engine rpm. No other engine symptoms, it pulls smoothly everywhere and doesn't use any oil. The front engine mount has already been replaced.
