Plenum replacement

Probably not the first person to do this, but in process of removing the old plenum on my 2006 Boxster S the small vacuum line to the actuator that they tell you to be careful with when trying to disconnect either pulled out where it connects or broke somewhere in the depths of the engine - unfortunately I cannot see where! I believe it went to the right side - can anyone enlighten me?
