Ground G12 and engine swap wiring.

I put an 03 engine in an 01 S and have 2 problems. First is the ground g12 (passenger side engine compartment. I don't know where it connects to the engine! and I no longer have the original engine to check.

Secondly I used the 101 projects book for planning an it mentions minor wiring/ecu modifications. Anyone know what this entails?

Is that the big heavy ground strap? Saying G12 doesn't help much. The engine grounds from the right mounting bolt on the starter to the chassis near the air pump. There are other 12 or 14 gauge ground wires, brown ones with mounting eyes, that mount to the back of the right cylinder head. Then there's another set on the firewall inside the rear trunk. All have to be secured.
