CA reg Help?
So I bought project car back in 2005 but never transferred the title into my name. The car was on non op when I bought it. I'm worried that if bring the pink in now that DMV will see that I bought it in '05 and fine me for not registering it at the time I bought it. What should I do?

Go through the AAA. They are easier to deal with than DMV. They can do a lot of DMV bussiness right there at their computers. Well worth the $48 membership fee that also incudes free towing!

They are spotty on that issue. My car was sitting for almost 20 years unregistered. They didn't fine me.
