Calling all 914s!!!
In case you missed it in the 914 technical and racing forums, please spread the word about the 914 50th Celebration at Mosport. In addition to the programme of Porsche Club Racing August 1-4, the Porsche 914 is to be honoured with a programme of special events on Sunday, August 4th.
10:00 a.m. 914 Exhibition at the Winner's Podium
12:45 p.m. 914 Tribute Parade Laps of the Grand Prix Circuit
3:00 p.m. Driving Tour led by Mark Henry
4:00 p.m. Mark Henry Shop Tour & BBQ

Apart for kicking in a few bucks for the bbq, the entire weekend is free for PCA members, including camping.

Richard - please spread the word to your 914 buddies.

Joe - I have to pm you. I'm now the proud owner of your old Larson 914 racer. Not sure if it will be at the track as I'm trying to make a tribute car of the '73 Canadian Grand Prix safety car.

And the big news is that, hopefully, this will be the big debut for Mark's 914-6 conversion.

Should be great celebration of the 914 with fellow 914ers. I plan to fly down and thumb a ride in a fourteen (as I will not have mine). 50th anniversary - only comes around once.

We need participation from la belle province. Hopefully that will change for the next big event as a 914 50th meetup is being planned for the Fall Classic at Mont Tremblant.
