Ontario Pelican'ers
I was just wondering who lives in Ontario and where abouts do you live. Just for future reference if we want to organize a fun run.

Hey Gary
![]() My mom and dad both (separated) live in Peter-patch! Mom lives near the newer water tower (I can’t remember the street name it’s off of; the one that goes to Westgate speedway) and dad lives south on Wallace Point road just before Stewart Hall. Do you know Brad Palmer he has a '73 911? He's also on the Wallace Point road (just off of Bensfort road), I rebuilt his engine several years ago. I think Mike (of Mike's 914 in Oshawa) is planning something for the summer, Oshawa also has the Sunday cruise nights. We should get together for the big General Motor's Car show this summer, it's huge and it's open to all makes. I live in Elizabethville, halfway between Kirby and Bewdley. |

I'm just west of Stratford. Hope to get more than 400 miles on the car this year...if the snow ever melts!

I moved so I could be 2 min away from Mike's shop in Oshawa. These projects can take a long time. I'm in for the fun run.
Hi Mark. Been to Mike's lately? - he's a busy guy, 3 really nice 914s under major resto, a couple also very nice regulars for minor stuff.

Ajax - in the Westney wasteland (new subdivision). Moved there about a year ago. To my pleasant surprise, about 20 mins from Mosport. Great track.

Fun Run
Ok, Guys and Gals when can we organize a fun run?? The weather is getting nicer, any winter bugs should be almost worked out. Maybe sometime in June?? What does everyone think on the subject. It would be nice to have a bunch of cars together, to see how what direction we've taken our restoration/restructuring/tuning in!!!
Mike

Import problems?
911_Canuck,
You mention that you are still trying to get your ride transferred... Are you experiencing problems with the import of the 911 to Canada? If so, please keep me posted on what's going on about that. I'll have to go through the same process this summer as I'll move from San Jose to Ottawa. I took the information about how to proceed and it seems pretty straightforward since my 911 is more than 15 years old (considered a classic... no inspection needed). BTW, there's howiee that wanted to have a beer with fellow 911 owners in Ottawa... maybe you could join us? Thanks, Alain
