You bet it is! The suspension is mostly 930 parts with Weltmeister sway bars and Carrera brakes so you can imagine how the 2200lb car handles! Plus, with the ~150hp 2.4L flat-4 under the lid, it goes as well as it corners and stops. Man, I love Porsches!!!

I don't think those pictures were really taken on the Island.

This time of year, you'd be 100% right but these pics were taken in September after a brutal four months of next-to-no rain! To think I actually complained about too much sun last summer... I'm such a loser!

Yikes!! ...just looked at the weather forecast for Winnipeg for tomorrow(Wed.) -33 C, -46 with the windchill. One almost needs a Porsche to pack as much fun into the summer as one can!! And have something waiting in the garage to llok forward to!! later, Max currently in LA

yup its cold... very cold.

The colour is dolomite grey metallic... its a 1979 colour, so not original but looks good on an early car (not too much metallic).

The original colour was light ivory... but I prefer the dolomite grey.

The car was stolen in the early seventies and recovered in 1979... so it only has California DMV serial numbers... so originality is not really an issue.

Unfortunately the only other picture I've got here at home is...

Love those old cars!

Yes it's cold here today too -30 (Calgary)

The really bad part about a two car garage is one car has to stay outside in winter (wifes got the other stall) and it's not going to be the Porsche.

Garage isn't heated either and it's pretty tought to work with big gloves on
