Hi,
I just want to invite everyone to join this AutoX session on Friday Oct 7th in Race City -last one this year (weather permitting). http://www.racecity.com/racing.php?n=24 I was there on Friday and all I can say is that I had an incredible time!! I can't believe I had so many runs, I got physically tired!! I been to other AutoX with the PCNA but due to the number of cars and time it takes to do the lap you can only do 3 or 4 runs and it's once a month, and that is fine but this AutoX runs every Friday and so many runs!!! For 40 bucks you can have a hell of a time! Seriously try to go, its from 7:00-ish to 1:00AM so you can go after supper and kitchen cleaning I can't emphazise enough it's so much fun!! -Jasper

We're talking about secret street?
Isn't it a blast?! I have such a great time, when I leave there, my neck hurts from holding my head up through so many corners, lol. I have been averaging 20-25 runs a night when I go, and I'm not always in the line up. I wish I could go, but I won't have my motor back together in time ![]()

I went last friday, get there closer to 7:00, otherwise it take an hour to get through the tech line up. I did one lap in the rain... that track gets greasy quick.

I've driven that course when it gets wet, and the infield can be a little scary. Coming around the left-hander at the south end of the infield, before exiting out onto the oval, water tends to collect there, and you can hit it just before you exit the corner. I've seen some close calls in that area because people can't see because of the water, or lose control or whatever. Also, entering the infield from the initial slalom can be tricky in the wet.
Other than that, keep 'er under half-throttle, and it's a blast. Plus, tires don't wear as fast in the rain ![]()

I'm visiting Calgary this weekend so I think I'll come out. My car was apart all year and the local club is finished for the season.
Should be fun. ![]()
